The following Chamber of Commerce events have been announced:
-- A Business After Hours event will be held at Fidelity Bank, Shirley on Aug. 15 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Fidelity Bank is located at 21 Main St., Shirley
Cost is $10 for members in advance and $20 for nonmembers at the door.
-- A golf tournament has been set for Aug. 20 from noon to 7 p.m. The 15th annual Nashoba Valley Chamber Tournament still has sponsorship opportunities available. Registration for the tourney is noon. Dinner and awards will be held at 6 p.m. Contact Melissa for details at Melissa@nvcoc.com.
-- The Fidelity Bank Breakfast Series guest speaker will be Michelle McPhee. The breakfast is set for Aug. 23 at 7:30 a.m. McPhee is an Emmy-nominated investigative reporter and host of The Michele McPhee show that airs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays on AM 680 WRKO.
A longtime columnist for the Boston Herald; she has covered high-profile crime cases across the country and has been a commentator on breaking news for national programs on CNN; MSNBC; and the Fox News Network. She is also a commentator for Boston affiliates.
McPhee has co-produced and hosted two Tru-TV "Mugshot" specials -- one chronicling Chris Paciello, the South Beach, Miami nightclub king turned mob rat who was the subject of her book, "A Mob Story." The second Tru-TV documentary centered on the life of Sammy "The Bull" Gravano, the Gambino crime family turncoat
In 2012 her investigative reporting for ABC News affiliate WCVB in Boston earned her an Emmy nomination for outstanding investigative journalism. The breakfast will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn, 59 Andrews Parkway, Devens. Cost is $20 for members in advance and $30 for nonmembers at the door.
-- The program "Navigating the Chamber -- Getting the Most Out of Your Membership," will be held on Sept. 5. at 8:30 a.m. at Clinton Turn Verein Inc., 60 Branch St., Clinton.
