The Habitat NCM ReStore, located at 637 Lancaster St., Leominster, sells donated new and gently used furniture, home improvement and building materials at a fraction of the original retail value.
All proceeds support Habitat's mission of building simple, decent, affordable homes for families in North Central Massachusetts, while keeping good, reusable materials in use and out of the landfill.
The ReStore is open Wednesday through Saturday. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is staffed almost entirely by volunteers. You can learn how to become a volunteer by joining us at one of our upcoming orientation sessions held the first Monday of each month at 10 a.m. or the third Friday of each month at 6 p.m. The next meeting is Friday July 18.
Meetings last approximately one hour and take place at the ReStore. You can register online at restorencm. org/volunteer, by email to email@example.com or call Clare Anderson-Felton on 978-348-2749 ext. 201.
We welcome individual volunteers plus corporate, civic, sports, school and church groups, and those needing to complete community service hours.
Whether on the cash register, assisting customers or the donations truck driver, preparing donations, organizing the warehouse or helping in the office, there's something for everyone.
Minimum age of 16 years, and no experience is necessary as all training will be provided.
