AYER -- The Easter Bunny thrilled on Saturday where he made an appearance at the Photo Op Studios at 210 West Main St.

Studio owner Todd Maki donned rabbit ears and transformed his studio into a carrot patch, thanks to decorations provided by neighboring Mayberries gift shop.

Among giant carrots, apple blossoms and other springtime flowers, kids cued up for photos with the Easter Bunny. Maki has offered up his services before for the Ayer-Shirley Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) and other groups. Visit www.photoopphoto.com sign up for future events at his studio.

SEPAC Chairman Crystal Carden was on hand to help with the day-long photo shoot, helping wrangle children and handling props for the kids to hold. Carden said Maki has helped her group before by hosting photos with Santa Claus over the past three years.

The group's next meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 8, at 7 p.m. at the Ayer-Shirley Middle School library in Shirley.
