Nashoba Publishing/Mary Arata Tim Holland of Ayer has launched his own, one-man livery service called Tim's Transport. Holland's service focuses on customers in Ayer, Devens, Harvard and Shirley.

AYER -- The Ayer-Shirley Spartans closed out their season with a championship win Wednesday night over the Littleton Lumberjacks, 41-32. With the win, the Spartans cinched their seventh-eighth grade boys Nashoba Valley Youth Basketball League 2012-2013 championship division.

Co-coach Kevin Patano said, "We are very proud of the boys. They finished off a terrific undefeated season."

The Spartans were 9-0 in the regular season, and earned three more wins in the playoffs.
