'Something Wild' host at NRWA annual meeting
The NRWA will hold its 2012 Annual Meeting on Thursday, Nov. 29, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Devens Common Center, 31 Andrews Parkway in Devens.
We are pleased to announce that our keynote speaker will be Dave Anderson, host of New Hampshire Public Radio's Something Wild, and director of education for the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests.
We'll be celebrating the accomplishments of the past year, electing officers and directors, and presenting our Conservation and Education Awards. This year's Land and Water Conservation Award will be presented to Michael J. Fleming, and Alden Chadwick will be honored with our Environmental Education Award.
In response to feedback in favor of a more affordable event, this year we have a new format for our evening. The evening will begin with social time, a chance to mingle with NRWA directors, NRWA staff, other members and friends. The evening will include dessert, business meeting, awards and the keynote address.
Ticket price is $20 per person. As always, the business meeting and speaking portions of the evening can be attended at no charge. Reservations are required and may be made online or by calling NRWA at 978-448-0299.
We hope you can join us!
