Pattie Mallette, mother of pop-star Justin Bieber, writes of her painful past in Nowhere but Up: The story of Justin Bieber's Mom.
Mallette, who was first sexually abused at the young age of 3 years old told the Huffington Post, "I was sexually violated so many times that as the years went by it began to feel normal," adding, "It's a strange marriage - knowing something is wrong yet at the same time finding it familiar and commonplace."
From sexual abuse to rocky relationships, drug abuse, being government dependent and having a short stint at a mental ward, Mallette found light at the end of the tunnel when she found sobriety and Christianity. Soon after becoming clean, Mallette was pressured into sex and became pregnant with her on-again-off-again boyfriend, Jeremy.
So while cutie-patootie Bieber might seem like he has it all -- it clearly didn't come easy for him and his mother. Mallette's book hit stores September 18.
Another shake-up for the Kardashian's reputation

Following that, his middle daughter, Kim Kardashian, started mingling with stars. You would think that maybe, just maybe, she would learn. Or has she? That's still up for discussion.
Sources say that Kim's newest boyfriend, Kanye West, has two of his very own bedroom tapes floating around. The crazy thing? A Kim K lookalike is his partner in crime. Unfortunately for her family's reputation, many suspect that the woman in the tape is indeed Kimmy herself. Sources say that she and her beau are doing anything and everything to cover this up.
The "leading lady" and Kim K. lookalike, Mony Monn, was reportedly given outdated, unreleased photos of the reality star. What to do with them? Of course, upload them to social media to aid in the cover-up. Monn was also reportedly given a nice chunk of change. Six-figures to be exact.
So if Kim is actually the leading lady in these tapes, why not fess up? Two words: Divorce settlement. Kim Kardashian was married to NBA star Kris Humphries for all of 72 days and the ex-couple's divorce proceedings are still going on. Since the announcement of their split, Humphries has been out to prove that the reality star used him for a good publicity stunt.
What better evidence than a sex tape to possibly prove her infidelity?
