HARVARD - The cause of the mishap remains under investigation, but the Massachusetts State Police state that the off ramp to Route 110/111 in Harvard from Route 2 eastbound remains closed for the morning hours.

A tractor trailer flipped onto its driver's side and came to rest in the grassy strip between the Exit 38 on and off ramps this morning at about 8:30 a.m.

The Harvard Fire Department responded with its hazardous materials truck and crew to absorb spilled fuel from the cab of the 2000 Freightliner truck.

The driver, 53 years old from Providence, RI, was transported by Harvard Ambulance for treatment of possible injuries. Scanner reports stated the man was taken to Leominster Hospital, though Massachusetts State Police indicated the man was transported to Nashoba Valley Medical Center.
