The Kelly Miller Circus will roll into town on Thursday, July 12. Everyone is invited to come out and watch the animals being unloaded and fed, and the elephants raising the big top. Activities will begin at 7:30 a.m. and the tent will be raised at 9 a.m. Guides will be furnished for anyone attending. The traditional "old style" circus will present two performances at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m.

Advanced tickets are available at Bailey's Bar and Grille, Townsend Town Hall, Townsend House Restaurant, and Workers' Credit Union. Advance ticket prices are: Adults-$10, children-$6.(ages 2-11). At door prices jump to $15 for adults and $7. for children.

A clown duo will be making appearances around the area on June 27. Watch for times and locations.
