Are there Level 2 and Level 3 offenders in my community?

With a state Supreme Court justice filing an injunction against a proposed law that would notify residents of who's a sex offender in their town, the Massachusetts Sex Offender Registry Board does offer the total number of offenders in town at the two- and three- level. No further detail can be revealed about Level 2 sex offenders until this law, signed by Gov. Deval Patrick this month, is reviewed by the highest court in the state.

Different levels refer to how likely the person is to commit another dangerous act again, Level 3 being the highest, or most likely. Check to see how many Level 2 offenders are in your community.
