GROTON - Groton Town Hall has closed its doors for the Monday in preparation for Hurricane Sandy.
The Town Meeting scheduled for tonight at 7 p.m. will gather briefly for the purpose of adjourning the meeting until Nov. 3 at 9 p.m. in the Middle School auditorium.
The town has not yet opened doors to an emergency shelter according to Emergency Management Agency member Bill Shute.
"Right now we have no plans to open one, it will be later on this afternoon if something happens," he said.
