Rib Fest

Are you a fan of slow smoked BBQ pork ribs, cornbread and baked beans? The Ayer Gun and Sportsman's club is hosting an All-you-can-eat Ribfest on Saturday, May 18, starting at 5 p.m. Tickets for the event are just $10, and availability is limited. Nashoba Associated Boards of Health, in conjunction with the Ayer Board of Health, announces that a Well Adult Clinic will be held free of charge for the general public:

Friday, May 17, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Senior Center, 18 Pond St., Ayer. No appointment is necessary.

Friday, May 17, 24 and 31 at the Town Nurses office, 51 Cambridge St., Ayer, by appointment only.

Drop in for blood sugar, blood pressure, pulse screening and diet teaching.

Second Annual Tee-Off for Technology Golf Tournament

June 24,8:30 a.m.; registration starts at 7:30 a.m., at Townsend Ridge Country Club, 40 Scales Road, Townsend.

Last year's tournament was loads of fun and raised $8000 to purchase new technology for Page Hilltop School. There are many ways to support this event: play in the tournament, sponsor the event and advertise your business, donate items to be raffled, or buy raffle tickets. All proceeds to benefit Page Hilltop s technology needs and our children.
