A Nashua Rail Trail parking facility special event will be held on Monday Oct. 22 at 10 a.m. at the Rail Trail Parking site, located off of Route 2A-111 Park St. onto Groton Street.

The event will be an announcement by legislative leaders that the Federal Transportation Administration has officially secured the previous $3.2 million earmark for work to commence on the Ayer Commuter Rail surface parking facility.
