The breakfast menu includes pancakes, French toast, omelets, sausage, bacon and ham, and free coffee and juice. Full breakfast $7. Orders-to-go also available. Proceeds benefit the children's fund. Central Fire Station Open House: 10 to 11 a.m., 14 Washington St. The Central Fire Station Reuse Committee invites the citizens of Ayer to attend an open house to view the Central Fire Station, learn about the upcoming warrant article and ask any questions about the future of the structure. Citizens are encouraged to stop by during these hours to see the current status of the building and to hear what the Committee proposes. Homecoming Fall Festival: ASRHS, noon to 3:30 p.m. (rain or shine). Food, carnival games, prizes!

Drive One 4 UR School: ASRHS parking lot from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (rain or shine), sponsored by Gervais Ford. Look at a new car and Ford will donate $20 to the school.

SUNDAY, OCT. 14

Youth archery clinic: Two sessions: 10 to 11:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Ayer Gun & Sportsmen's Club, 255 Snake Hill Road, Ayer. Free to all youth ages 9 to 16. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. This program is designed to foster youth interest in archery and provide a basic knowledge of the sport. All youth archers will be taught basic safety and shooting techniques. All equipment needed for the day will be provided. Come join us and have some fun. Space is limited to 15 archers per session so call Barry at 978-204-8277 or the cub at 978-772-9748 to reserve your space.
