The July 6 online story, "Controversial Ayer landlord flies solo in district court," and the July 13, 2012, Public Spirit story, "Landlord claims he is legally abandoned," should have stated that police testified on June 13 that when Ernisse was arrested earlier that day, Maxant was seated next to Ernisse in the lobby of Ayer District Court when Ayer Police arrested Ernisse. We regret the error.
