As of Monday, June 18, the Pond Street Improvement Project is approximately 60 percent complete.

The sewer main upgrades have been completed. The water improvement portion is expected to be completed by the end of this week and the drainage improvements are expected to take approximately two weeks.

After completion of the drainage piping, the road and sidewalk improvements will be completed. The expected end date for this portion of the project is the middle of July.

The road will be passable and paved with the initial (binder) course. The final (top) course paving along with final cleanup will be completed in October.
