AYER -- The 11th annual Veterans Day program will be held from 7 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Ayer High School. The schedule for the day is as follows:

7-7:20: Veterans check in at the library

7:30-8:30: Veterans visit classrooms in groups of two or three

8:35-9:25: Veterans breakfast in the library

9:40-10:50: Assembly in the auditorium for grades 5-12

The public-address announcer will be recognizing veterans from both sidelines at our home football game Nov. 6 against Narragansett at halftime. Those veterans who participate in our program on Nov. 4 will get a pass to attend the game for free.

The 11th Annual Veterans Day program at Ayer High School is sponsored by the Ayer High School/Massachusetts Army National Guard Leadership Education Program.
