Memorial Day pancakes: Join Groton Grange #7 for delicious pancakes before the Annual Memorial Day Parade, 7:30-10 a.m. We will serve coffee, tea, orange juice, sausage and a variety of pancakes including blueberry and chocolate chip. This is the annual fundraiser for our Scholarship Fund. Join us for some early morning food and fun just steps away from the parade route. Open house and registration: There will be an Open House and Registration Day for Preschool and Pre-K from 1-3 p.m. at Sunshine School, a theme-based learning program housed in the new addition of the First Parish Church of Groton. Free Dinner, Live Music and Good Company: All are welcome to the next Groton Community Dinner at First Parish Church, located at the intersection of Route 40 and Route 119 in Groton. Dinner is served from 5:45-7 p.m. Come for live music, delicious food and good company. The menu includes house salad, Tuscan herbed chicken or Tuscan herbed soy with white beans, fresh asparagus, and rhubarb and apple crisp.
